Too much sleep will cause short-lived
A new study found that people who slept too much or too little had a shorter life expectancy than those who slept 8 hours a day.
Finnish researchers are right 2.
Ten thousand adults underwent a 22-year follow-up study and found that during the study period, people who slept for 7 consecutive hours or more than 8 hours were more likely to die.
The results of this study prove that sleep habits have a certain relationship with physical health and mental health.
However, the reason why too much or too little sleep will increase the risk of death is still inconclusive.
They believe that the reasons may be varied, because people who have too much sleep or have too little sleep have their own special circumstances, many of which are related to the disease.
For example, less sleep time may be due to the relative need for sleep, or due to insomnia or other health problems.
Similarly, more sleep time may be due to some potential diseases in the body.
The study found that men who slept less than 7 hours were 26% more likely to die than men who stayed 7 to 8 hours of sleep, and 21% more women.
Men who slept more than 8 hours were 24% more likely to die than men who stayed 7 to 8 hours of sleep, and 17% more women.
The researchers pointed out that although there are other studies showing that sleep habits are associated with poor health conditions such as diabetes (and heart disease, the relationship between sleep and life is not yet fully understood.
